The price of the dinner at the restaurant and the quality of the food.
More easy for Polish speaking visitors.
nothing to like at there...i felt everything was very bad...
The castle and sorundings
very romantik and naturaly
Real castle, surrounded by water and forest. Real antient interior. Worth seeing it once.
The shower holder was broken so it was not possible to take a shower normally. Wireless internet was not working in the room (signal available but not working).
Our family enjoyed having the experience of staying in a real castle. The kids loved to explore. The staff were friendly. They did not speak English, but they were willing to communicate. They had a big breakfast that filled us up for the day. Overall, if you want to have the experience of staying in a castle at a reasonable rate, this is the place.
It's good to be the king for one night! Great mushroom soup!! The meals at the restaurant were great.
The fact that is a old castle and has a river/lake round it is just great fun
Great location, excellent setting, authentic castle, comfortable beds.
Breakfast could have been better, basically it consisted of three kinds of cheese, three kinds of ham and boiled hot dogs, bread and jam. We did not eat dinner in the restaurant so we cannot comment on that.
The castle is beautiful and unique. The countryside is beautiful. The staff were very friendly, in spite of us not speaking Polish. The restaurant is charming and the food was good.
The place is a movie set - they were even making a movie while we were there. It is just a fabulous, atmospheric place, a bit of a fantasy really. Large comfortable rooms with lake views. All mod cons, suits of armour, weaponry on the walls, even has its own torture chamber. Very good restaurant as well
Great experience staying in a castle. Cheap food in the restaurant. Clean comfortable room. Even though there was no toilet in the room, there was a shower and sink so it was a very minor inconvenience.
The Staff is great but do not speak English - bring a dictionary.
very nice and pleasant staff. good location with amazing view. tasty traditional Polish food.
very poor standard - recollection from 80's. A place for one visit. recommendation for historical visit and dinner. not accomodation.
Very nice Castle and beautiful area at the site. Very poor lodging experience. They need to decide if they are going to be a tourist attraction for special events and tours, or are they going to be a lodging place. They seem not to be able to do both and don't seem to care much at all if they have repeat customers.
Service was terrible starting at check-in and even in the restaurant. The bedroom smelled very musty, the carpet was so worn out that the wooden floor showed through in some areas and where the carpet was coming up, they screwed it back down to hold it in place. The bed was short and very hard. A Harry Potter childrens event (60+) was going on the same week which we did not know about and they ran the hallways and outside till almost midnight making a lot of noise. The restaurant had fairly decent food, but it took two hours to get it and there were only 8 tables. Other places we have stayed in Poland the folks have always been very friendly and helpful, this was the opposite. I would not go back to stay there nor recommend the Zamek Czocha to anyone to stay the night, just visit to see the castle. It would be hard to identify anything good about sleeping there. The roads to get to the castle are also in poor condition and it took approx. 1 hour from the Pottery stores to reach the castle, you could only go about 25-30km max.
Super coole Burg mit Geheimgängen sehr spannend gerade mit Kindern. Nettes Personal,
Beim Frühstück nicht soviel erwarten
